When is it?
October 3rd 2026 - 5:30am
Is there a Cutoff?
7:30pm - 14 hours
No there is not, runners are encouraged to get dropped off/picked up by friends/family, rideshare/taxi or public transit, due to the point to point nature of the event.
Are there cups at aid stations?
No, to reduce our enviromental impact we require runners to bring their own reusable cups to use at aid stations.
No. Please be respectful of other trail users.
Aid Station 1 - Top of Seymour (8km)
Aid Station 2 - Rice Lake (11km)
Aid Station 3/4 - Base of Grouse (10km/6km)
Aid Station 5 Base of Seymour (10km)
Yes, completion medals will be given out to finishers. Shirt is included in registration fees.
Are Pacers allowed?
No, we have a strict number of participants allowed and want to maximize the amount of people able to complete the entire course. You'll make friends on the trail we promise!
Yes, there will be porta potties at the start of the race. Availability at the top of the ski mountains is not confirmed and extra distance from the aid stations. Please don't try a new breakfast on race day.. its a public trail :)
The start line is the Parkgate village in the North Shore and the finish line is The Shed, Cypress Village Pop-Up Lookout.
What was the course design philosophy?
Cyclists have been doing all three mountains in one day for years with 110psi tires and 20 gear speed machines. Time to show them we only need two feet and a heart beat.
We encourage it!! they can bring you pizza, beer, a therapist, or a time machine to unregister. Most usually just bring words of encouragement. There will be drinks and snacks to keep you fueled.
Unfortunately no, medals are only for finishers, which is why we have a generous cut off time. If you tap our early your prize is unlimited high fives from volunteers, a killer story and a reason to sign up again next year. I think the BMO marathon gives them out to everyone.. you could try there!
Is there any mandatory gear?
We will update runners closer to race day for any required gear. given the accesibility of the route and mild temperatures we dont anticipate anything out of the ordinary.
Did you get permits for this?
Yes! By asking very nicely and working with 8 different stakeholders to get this event approved.
